01Context

Reynard High Voltage Solutions sends jointing crews to high-voltage cable work on land and offshore. Its people fly out by helicopter with aluminium cases of specialist tools, and the company’s mark is a fox.

02Challenge

Reynard had three jobs and no single voice for them. It needed to look credible to grid operators and offshore clients. It wanted a warmer story for recruiting and for the crews themselves. And its technicians needed a mobile tool for safety reports, toolbox talks, shifts and inventory that felt like it belonged to Reynard, not to a generic software vendor.

03The idea

Turn the logo into a character.

The fox stops being a badge and becomes the thread. It appears on the cases in the crew photography, it narrates the illustrated story “Reynard and the Lost Jointers”, and it greets every technician who opens the Toolbox Suite app.

Execution

  1. 01

Photography that shows the real crew

No models, no stock. The four technicians who actually fly out are photographed in front of the aircraft, with their own cases. The fox on the cases is the only branding in the frame, and it is enough.

  2. 02

An illustrated story for the people, not the procurement department

“Reynard and the Lost Jointers” follows the fox at sea, looking out from a rusted platform. It gives the company a way to talk about the work that is human and a little romantic, without softening the credibility of the technical brand.

  3. 03

Toolbox Suite: the app the crew opens at the start of a shift

Safe and unsafe observations, incident and NCR reports, toolbox talks with signatures, shift logs, inventory and project documents, all in one mobile app that syncs when the crew is back in range. The fox sits in the header of every screen.

05 — Result

One brand, from helipad to phone screen.

Reynard’s crews carry the same fox on their cases, in their story and in the app they open at the start of a shift. The identity works at the level where it matters most: with the people doing the work.
